I have just treated myself to a Niger seed bird feeder. As well as my mix seed, suet pellets, fat balls and suet block. I am hoping to attract more variety of garden birds to my garden. I seem to have my first visitor to our front garden bug/butterfly house that I have on the fence. Some type of spider.

I counted 15 on my rear garden feeding station this afternoon. Lovely to watch. I also had 7 starlings enjoying my meal worms.

I have various hanging type of feed but the all the ltt seems to go for the fat balls. I wasn't sure if there was a reason other than choice.

If is just me or do long tailed tit seems to always go for the fat balls. This afternoon I counted 15 long tailed tits feeding on the fat balls not the seed. I have also seem this at other feeding station near where I live.

Thank you very much. Already had some blue tits on there today which is pleasing they found it so quickly.

Sure will. I can sit there just watching tjem for ages. Very relaxing.

I have just replaced my back garden bird feeders with a new 5 hook station.

Next year on would like it add some new plants to my front garden. I ideally would like ones that reappear year on year with some nice colours and attract insects. Any advice would be great.
