I frequently get 2 or 3. The ferals outnumber them easily.

The Sprawk did a high speed fly through this morning. He was unlucky. :) It may also be a reason why I'm not seeing as many birds as I would like.

My garden has become a lot quieter in the last 5 days. I am still getting a few birds but less than I expect at this time of year. I'm thinking they have been frightened by a Sprawk but I am seeing more cats than I would like. I think I have found out the problem. I looked out the back window this ...

My garden has become a lot quieter in the last 5 days. I am still getting a few birds but less than I expect at this time of year. I'm thinking they have been frightened by a Sprawk but I am seeing more cats than I would like.

No sign of any hog activity in my garden. I did think one had been at the food but it turned out to be a Blackbird making a mess. :(

I think "Winterwatch" gave them attention a few years ago. I believe it was down in Somerset(possibly Taunton or Bridgewater) and the trees were in the town centre.They decided it was the heat from the buildings which was attracting them. :nod:
