I've not seen a hog for months and months.

I always do it. I haven't always uploaded the data though.
Sometimes I'll do it twice as it's a good excuse to just sit in the conservatory watching the birds.

I got the impression it all had to go.
But only the one tree, the other one can stay.

I had a bit of a shock when I came home today as the lovely big tree (that does block a lot of our view) was half chopped down. As far as I knew, it had a TPO on it, so I immediately got on to the council. I got passed onto the tree officer who told me that he'd seen it last week and it had the same...

As I was walking past Caerphilly castle this evening, I saw a kingfisher sat on a rock at the edge of the moat. What a lovely little bird. I'm sure I've never seen one in real life before. I walked towards it but it flew into a bush.

MIL wants a nest box with a camera as they missed their baby blue tits coming out of their box.
Can anyone recommend one?

I still don't have juvies. The only time I've ever had them is in November/December.

I think I've got 3 regulars.
We're off on hols shortly and a friend's daughter is staying in my house so she can feed the hogs

Well I never saw the one I released again.
I do have 7 fairly regulars.
I marked a new one last night and another new one just now. You'd think the new ones would be small juveniles, but they are all porkers.
I think I've lost about 3 or 4 that were marked and then disappeared.

One of my baby jackdaws has left the chimney. There's still squawking going on up there.

And baby sparrows with their mouths wide open
