Had a baby blue tit on my feeder yesterday being fed by a parent. Lots of twittering and wing flapping. FEED ME! :)

Re: FROGS

Fantastic!
If you can add a flat stone to act as a ramp for things to get in and out more easily. Looks like a perfect little home for your frog though. Fingers crossed for some frog spawn!

Re: FLEDGLINGS 2018

Cute :) A robin.

I haven't seen any yet but I've got 2 dunnocks visiting my feeders every 20 mins or so which makes me think they might have a nest on the go. I've had the odd rare visit from them before but never this frequent.

Re: Poorly bird :(

I found out someone at work is a twitcher!!

Showed the info to him and he said
this is a very sick Great Tit. The piloerection of feathers is a sign of distress and could be due to any combination of trauma, cold or disease. At least it had a full stomach for what were probably its last hours!

Re: Poorly bird :(

No sign of him today.

I hope he found somewhere warm because I woke up to 2cm of snow and then it poured with rain for the rest of the day.
