Saw my first fledglings of the year today. Unsurprisingly they were members of the pigeon family. 3 x Collared Doves.

I have now started feeding my Tadpoles. I use floating fish sticks which as the name suggests are made for pond fish but they(the Tadpoles) seem to like them.

Today I saw a Jackdaw having a bath in my pedestal birdbath. As far as I can recall that is the first time I've ever seen a corvid in my birdbath.

Took a photo of this Chaffinch a few days ago. Only just noticed it has a ring on. If I could have read the details on the ring, or if it had died and I had access to the ring, what should I have done with that data? chaffinch_1201 (800 x 572).jpg The BTO are always keen to hear about birds spotted...

It may be that the photographic system has lost the colour but the Lunar Brown looks very Grey
