Went out with bird food this morning, noticed that one of the limbs f the rowan had broken off in the wind. Not a large limb hick wise. A clear sign colder weather has arrived I had a Chaffinch on the SF feeder today. I only get them in winter but their numbers have reduced in recent times.

Not seen by me but reported in Devon birds yesterday. Three parakeets seen over the way. Just around a few hundred yards from where I live.

They may like the Devon weather and decide to stay. I'm looking forward to your video of them.

Somehow a Peacock butterfly found it's way into my lounge last night. I tried to catch it but failed leaving it in the dark until this morning. My daughter finally caught it and it is now in a box to put in the garage until spring.

I had to mow my lawn today due to the mild weather. I'm hoping that was the last time for this year.
