Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs

Pretty sure i have some late brood hoglets coming in for food. Don`t seem to be all that big. Do you watch them to see if they need any help Willpar? If they are strong enough to hibernate? I know that a wildlife rescue who deal with hogs say that this year they are having quite a lot of admissions...

Re: WHAT I SAW TODAY.....

I am blessed at the moments with not one, not two but three Nuthatches coming to the feeders. There are two larger ones and a smaller one. Have seen both large in together and a large and smaller in together but not the three together. I wait in anticipation. They are lovely birds, you are lucky pe...

Re: WHAT I SAW TODAY.....

I've seen a big flock of blue tits in my neighbour's garden today, never seen such a big group flying around, at least 20 of them  . It was so lovely to see them in such great numbers, buzzing around the garden in all directions  :flying:

I only ever see them around town centre and car parks, never had a pleasure of seeing one in my garden. Such cute little birds, would love to see them around my feeders

Re: Your Garden Hedgehogs

Whilst tidying up a part of my garden this afternoon I had a very strange find. A hedgehog skull  . I know it was a hog because there were still some oddments of skin attached with spines and little bits of hair. A the time of posting I have not found any more remains which begs the question h...
