Could it be that someone had started taking potshots at them and scared them off.

Re: Feral Pigeons

feral Pigeons have been visiting my garden for at least 20 years. In recent years the average number was 15 per visit. Three visits per day was the norm during the summer and two in winter. Today and every day this week there were no visits whatsoever  The piles of dropped food under the fee...

Re: MAGPIES

The old guy turned up for breakfast 😊, and than later picked a sunny spot to lie down and have some rest, alone while all others are on their magpie errands, something he does a lot. I will call him Jude, since I don't know if he is a he or a she  , Jude can be either :D

Re: WHAT I SAW TODAY.....

I've been seeing this new robin in my garden, I think he has taken over the territory  . I heard him before I saw him, singing (clicking :D ) his autumn song. Seems a bit shy 😊

Lots of hedgehog activity at the moment. two to three adults, and three to four juveniles.
That is such a good news

Are you still seeing the magpie, butterfly?
Funny you should ask that Willpar, I haven't seen him today, which is unusual because he is usually around even when others go places. Lets see if he turns up tomorrow

Re: MAGPIES

The odd maggie saga continues  . I looked out the window the other day, and I saw the same magpie sleeping on top of the bird table, in the middle of the day, head tucked under the wing and all  https://i.imgur.com/C0NfkNg.jpg I've been seeing him around and his behaviour is really odd. He...

An update on the Forder Valley beavers here. A female was released a few months after the male.

Another update. One of the beavers got out of the enclosure and has been killed in an RTA.
Devastating :(
