An albino fledgling sparrow !!
I thought it was a house sparrow but I now think it's a dunnock.

Never seen one before. The mother is feeding it but who knows how long it will survive being so conspicuous !

It's always good to see something different.

Had a couple of Collared Doves on the niger seed feeder. We get them every so often but first time for a few weeks and not seen them on the feeder before..

Boxes are now up. Haven't had anything looking yet but it's been raining most of the day and not many small birds about.

Thanks for the replies. I'll get them up tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be more lucky this year.
I watched a chaffinch chasing around a female quite determinedly the other day !

I also noticed the chaffinches getting frisky today with one chasing another round the trees !

A long-tail tit was on the coconut fat feeder when a blue tit came along and chased it off. The LTT went up into the tree and the blue tit followed and chased it off again. A couple of minutes later the LTT (or another one !) was back on the feeder and again the blue tit chased it off.

Saw a goldcrest today. I may have seen one a few years ago but this is the first time recently. Opened the bedroom curtains and saw a bird that looked smaller than usual in the birch just outside the window and was sure it wasn't a blue or great tit. It was hopping around and hidden by twigs but ...

It looks like our Goldcrest may have taken up residence in the area as I've seen it a couple of times since I first saw it. Hoping to get a picture eventually !
