Trying to sort out the different foxes who visit us. We were confused by the actions of the small one (pictured in previous posts ), he's famous for jumping on the large bird feeder table and we even leave food on the table for this fox. But some nights he totally ignores the table. Here's a photo I...

Poplar Hawkmoth. A member of the Hawk moth family. Every year I manage to get one of these friendly giants. This one has a wing span of just under 3 inches.

It's certainly a smallish Fox.
It eats some of the food and then carries some off, so it may be feeding cubs.

Just been watching a juvenile Blackbird taking on a Woodpigeon for the right to be first at the currants we'd put out. The juvenile won!

A Setaceous Hebrew Character is a different moth :)
