Would expect a second egg at Loch of the Lowes today'

Third one at Glaslyn on Friday
Third one Loch of the Lowes on Saturday if second laid today.

But you know how unpredictable nature can be.

At the moment it is difficult to see the egg at Loch of the Lowes. There is that much lichen in the nest cup.

Thought I saw a second egg at Loch of the Lowes but not sure.

Bird on the nest at Lock Arkaig. Could be a female as there are a lot of markings on the chest. Maybe it is Aila. No sign of Louis at the nest.

Yes, definitely two eggs at Loch of the Lowes.

Loch Arkaig - Aila been on and off the nest all morning. She has been busy housekeeping and trying to reposition a stick that is firmly embedded in the nest. She could probably do with a bit more lichen to line the nest cup.

Good to see things moving along.
