Glaslyn - only one chick on the nest. Think it must be KC4. Wet day and she looks miserable.
Loch Arkaig - two chicks on the nest and Mum. Don't know where the other chick is.
PS - KC2 just arrived followed by Dad with a fish. Was KC2 watching him fishing, beat him home and grabbed the fish immediately. Not a big fish and will only do one.

Well that's the fish eaten and KC2 off again.

I just read in the chat Glaslyn chat that JJ6 left the nest/fledged at 06:13 this morning and hasn't come back yet. Really worrying

Loch Arkaig - Yes, Doddie (JJ6 - first to hatch) fledged at 06.13 this morning. Nice video of him fledging.
Glaslyn - No sign of KC4 fledging yet but it should be soon.

Aila just left the nest. Maybe she is going to look for Doddie.

She hasn't yet, there is a persistent intruder that I think is slowing KC4 in fledging, because adults have to keep chasing him/her off and youngsters have to go down for cover. Mrs G chased them off for the second time just earlier after they followed KC3 coming back to the nest.

Its a wrong time to be stripping wallpaper peregrine

, you are missing out on all excitement, she just took a second flight!
Official fledging time is 18.44, and she took another flight less than a 30 mins later, with a very good perch landing
