Best I've ever seen the picture yesterday

At two minutes to five yesterday, EJ appeared on the nest with a fish. She's back folks.

Looks like a Pine Marten has been using EJ's nest. She quickly got rid of it.

No up-date of either blog, maybe tomorrow.

Yes, Odin is back.

Staff at Loch of the Lowes were concerned at the weekend by the female's apparent lack of interest in the male after their great start together. However things appeared to be back to normal on Monday and mating resumed. The male has the nest spruced up and seems to spend a lot of time there.

AT loch of the Lowes, observations today so far the male appears to be on the nest more than the female. Haven't observed any mating going on. Concerned!!!!

Bit of commotion at Loch of the Lowes nest. Two Ospreys on the nest when another came in chasing one off. Not sure if intruder was a rogue male of female but looks like our resident male did his duty.

No word from Loch of the Lowes staff about what happened yesterday with the third Osprey.
