Today I saw some young make-up free goldfinches and a scrawny young jackdaw.

And today I saw 2 young woodies with a teenage mum.  Well the third one had a teeny neck white stripe, so was hard to tell if it was grown up.

Today I found a fresh pigeon eggshell in the garden which means that all being well a young bird will be in my neighbourhood taking it's first flight at the end of October. I hope it's not afraid of fireworks.
