Leighton Moss 02-04 November 2026 (part 3)

Post by PimperneBloke »

Still ongoing. This was the end of the first day, an early trip to find the Bearded Reedlings on day 2, then a solo jaunt towards the hides I'd not visited on day 1.

Looks like nutty performed well PB. It's getting a little easier to spot the treecreepers as the leaves come off :) You managed to get a nice variety of photo's.

Thanks Snappy... it was quite funny, I'd said the previous day this was prime nutty/ treecreeper territory, but there were barely any of the woodland birds at all, then the following day they all came out to play, in about a 20 yard section... 2 nutties, four or 5 Marsh Tits, the Treecreeper... fabulous :)

The pintail is such a handsome duck but the shoveller is less so as your fine photos prove.
