At the risk of being pedantic( :rolleyes: ) I don't think, strictly speaking, it can be classed as a flower. It may be like a Poinsietta which has bracts(spelling :shrug: ). Which ever it is I expect Placi will be along in a while to put me and the rest of us right.

I know what this is but I'm afraid I can't quite put a name to it right now :( . Give me time .......
These are variegated leaves - not bracts which form the periphery of tiny, insignificant flowers.
Oh come on, come on brain .......

It's a variety of Euonymus, johnd - there are so many with the red/pink leaves it could be any of 'em really.
At a guess, it's a sub. of 'hamiltonianus'.
