Went out for a couple of hours this morning, never seen many butterflies. You have done well to spot those JS.

I was very surprised to see a Red Admiral in the garden this afternoon.

you and it were very lucky. There was no sun to enjoy today up here, it has rained continuously since 9 am

I saw two Brimstones today in a neighbours garden. I was hoping they would visit me but they flapped off in the other direction.

I saw another today which actually flew briefly across my front garden.

Seen my first butterfly of the year while walking the lanes this morning. A peacock.
