Now two chicks at Loch of the Lowes. Must have been in the last twelve hours. Would expect the third to hatch on about Tuesday.

All three nests now have three chicks. Loch of the Lowes chicks are growing well.

Apologies, there is still an egg in Loch Arkaig nest. May have been one that was infertile.

Going by the size of the chicks at Loch Arkaig, the egg must be one that was infertile.
Loch of the Lowes chicks are fairly growing as are the three at Glaslyn.

Loch of the Lowes chicks are at the 'Dinosaur' stage when standing.

Three chicks at Loch Arkaig. Egg I saw must have been shell of a chick that had hatched.

Sad news at Loch of the Lowes. Following a shortage of fish delivered to the nest, the youngest chick was attacked by an older chick and eventually died. This happened the first year I started following the Ospreys. I had named that chick 'Small Fry'.
