Both chicks are spending more and more time away from the nest. Still coming back to the nest for food that LM12 is still supplying. One of the chicks on the nest at the moments soliciting for food.

Call has been answered, chick now feeding. Not sure if the other Osprey is a chick or LM12 having delivered the meal. Ca see the silver ring but not the Davic ring.

Thank you for that peregrine. More to it than people think. Lots of paperwork.

NCO - residents female at Loch of the Lowes shortly the latest she has left before was 13 August last year. LR1, LR2 (this years chicks) and LM12 will still be here for a few weeks.

Appears the last sighting of NC0 was 19 August 2021 and not as previously thought. However LR1 (eldest chick) was last seen on 15 August. It is unusual for a chick to leave on migration before the female but it looks like LR1 has gone.

LM12 (Male) and LR2 (youngest chick) appear to be still here.

Maybe something happened to LR1? It is very unusual indeed

Don't think anything has happened to LR1. Probably thought its time to go and went. Ospreys are quite unpredictable so nothing surprises me. Roll on March next year.
