There will be no eggs or chicks at Loch Arkaig camera tree this year. Louis has teamed up with a female on another nest. The camera will be kept running and hopefully we may see some of Louis's offspring once fledged. They will have pictures of the chicks being ringed in July.

Maybe spoke to soon about eggs at Loch Arkaig this year. There is a male and female on the nest at the moment. don't know if it is Louis and his new female or another pair. Hopefully they will update the blog soon and let us all know.

Glaslyn and Loch of the Lowes - first egg due to hatch anytime.

Very good news peregrine.

Both nests still have three eggs.

Loch of the Lowes - tiny hole appeared in one of the eggs around 1pm yesterday. NC0 was agitated, getting up, fussing with the eggs and lying down again. Then around 10pm they got a first glimpse of the chick. Second chick should hatch around Thursday.

Nothing from Glaslyn yet. Should have hatch before Loch of the Lowes.

Chick at Glaslyn. Not sure when it hatched, yesterday or day before. Nothing from the staff on that yet.
