Loch Arkaig chicks coming on a treat. Aila having difficulty covering/sheltering them.

Feathers still developing at Glaslyn, particularly on the head and neck. Beginning to look the part now.

Its so lovely to see the 3rd chick, the smallest one, is catching up nicely growing :) . Parents are doing an excellent job :clap:

AYe, was worried about the wee one for a while but now it makes sure it gets its fair share at mealtimes.

Rain at Glaslyn. Female and her chicks are hunkered down in the nest. At least one chick is getting wet.

Think it is wet at Lock Arkaig as well. Aila is sitting on her chicks and wings spread.

looks like the Glaslyn chicks are in for another wet day. Chicks too big to be covered completely by the female.

Loch Arkaig isn't looking too dry either. Aila just about covering her chicks.

Wet at both nests. Both sets of chicks look miserable.
