You're right, Jacksparrow. It's wearing out due to overuse and requires a full overhaul (like moi).

This unseasonal warm weather is bringing stuff to life which has no business waking up at this time of year: last night, a spider and a woodlouse (not together, you understand) in the house. Not appreciated :(.

My sparrow population seems to be growing. Have just counted 21 on my hedge.

I hope your landlord has been informed of your new "pets". Perhaps Rexit would be prepared to come in and exercise a little pest control.

So far, I put up a couple of feeders in my new garden, and apart from my resident robin, Mr Pavarotti, I've seen few blue tits, couple of woodies and just today a very handsome Mr Blackbird  . There was one(!) starling yesterday having a nibble, and even though I've seen them in the area they usually sit high up in the tree and sing/chatter but don't come down for any food, very strange
Word is spreading around slowly about a new eatery in the town :D .

All the usual suspects. I feel I can look out at any time to see a few Sparrows, three or four goldfinches a similar number of Blackies not forgetting the feral pigeons and collared doves. I'm never bored but a little variety like a winter thrush would be nice. Maybe next week :)
