Just seen three juvenile starlings in the garden. They are on their way.

Wooohooooo :woohoo: , better get some ear plugs ready Willpar :D . But they are such joy

I looked out just earlier and saw 2 adult starlings fighting on the ground, again! Its a hectic time for them, they must be exhausted, so tempers are running high :wife:

Not seen any of mine fighting over food yet butterfly. Even first thing in the morning when they trip the hedgehog camera. All is cordial at the moment.

NOISE WARNING! Turn the volume down so your ears don't hurt. More have fledged, I think its over 30 of them now, hard to count them as they hardly ever stay still. I don't know who makes more noise though, fledgelings begging to be fed or parents shouting some instructions and trying to keep them in check I guess  . This is just one group. I long for quiet

Have just been watching mother and father starlings feeding two fledglings on the bird table outside kitchen window. Nice to see.

Its really lovely to see that Willpar  , they are so cute when being fed
My flock of fledgelings is growing every day, its a mayhem in my garden :tampoline: :hyper: . But I haven't seen my disabled starling for 2 days now, I fear something might have happened to her, and worry about her little ones :( .

A disaster struck today. A cat got one starling :weep: . I was getting inside when I heard these terrible really loud screams, I turned around and just caught a glimpse of this ginger cat with one fledgeling in his mouth running away. Devastated and so upset, as I imagine are the parents :( :(

Sad to hear butterfly. Unfortunately it is what cats do.
