BIRD FEEDING

Post by Jacksparrow » Sat May 31, 2014 6:30 pm

I'm currently getting through about one kilo of bird seed from the hanging feeders. Added to this is a slightly lesser amount of Sunflower hearts.

The sparrows that come to my feeders are getting through half a feeder a day at the moment.

House Sparrows in with their chicks. Feeding on seed, peanuts, fat balls and suet blocks. Starlings the same feeding their chicks.

Sorry, just found this :smack: . Seller was on eBay - alyngarn - but I think the Sunday delivery was down to the delivery company they use: My Hermes. As far as I can gather My H. has a network of drivers with their own vehicles who deliver on behalf of.
I imagine they are paid on the number of deliveries they make so the weekend thing is down to them.

Ta placi. I know DPD are pretty good and the delivery company that 'mealworms on line' use sends email confirmation of date and time of delivery (with an online option to change date or provide alternative delivery address) that I thought was excellent!!!
