Re: FROGS
I had a surprise today when I found a late batch of spawn nearly six weeks after the first lot appeared in early March

Re: FROGS
For the most part I leave a third of the chateau grounds undisturbed and this leaves room for my froglets to grow in a safe environment away from my size nines clumping around. Yesterday I did a little rootling around in the safe area to get rid of some dominant weeds and grasses and disturbed a little frog which was clearly from the class of 2018. It was roughly twice the size of one that has just left the tadpole stage. It is good to know that all my nurturing is not a waste of time.

Re: FROGS
More Froglets are appearing. They are currently hiding under the ground bird bath/Hedgehog water bowl. Each time I lift it up to get rid of the soiled water they leap around like fleas trying to find alternative cover. I think it is a slightly dodgy hiding place as I'm sure the Hogs would find them a very tasty morsel.
