My first butterfly spot today :). A small, browny type, flittering along.
I believe the technical term is Small Brown Flitter :butterfly:.

Yes, it is early, Jacksparrow. Googled it and SBFs don't normally appear until the third Friday in June, so that's a first :nod:.

Still no sighting of the SBF but I had to make do with a male Brimstone :)

Saw two small butterflies - one yellow and one orangey in colour in the garden toady. The latter flew over the fence :laugh: :butterfly:

The yellow one will be a Brimstone. The other could be an Orangetip. :butterfly:
