GREENFINCHES
Re: GREENFINCHES
Sad to say I have not had a Greenfinch at the feeding-station for about three years. Before that they were very regular. Never saw any signs of disease.

Re: GREENFINCHES
I have frequent visits though the numbers vary. Currently it is either one or two but I would expect it to rise to 6 or more once winter arrives. The only ever go for the sunflower hearts in my garden so if you don't have those I doubt you will be troubled by them.

Re: GREENFINCHES
Sadly it would seem that I have a case of Tricho in my garden. There has been a young Greenfinch looking very puffed up hanging around in the tree by the hearts feeder and on the bird bath.

Re: GREENFINCHES
I had a visit from a single Greenfinch today. The first one since early January.
I hope they are fairing better in other parts of the country
