Things must be really serious re my new semi-detached neighbours - toady one of them just flew at a blackbird on the lawn. Must have judged that the unfortunate and innocent blackie was that little bit too close.
The blackbird didn't argue but flew off, looking rather bewildered I must say  :blackbird:.

Yeah it's the surprise factor. If it's flight or fight they'll usually pick the former until they know what the threat is. :bolt:

Re (above) my belligerent little neighbour - 2 innocent LTTs visited very briefly. A furious blue and yellow rocket launched himself (presumably him ?) at one of them which took off. The second one didn't wait around.

Pity 'cos LTTs are rare around here but we're all getting the message as to the ownership of the garden .

Never seen this behaviour previously - this guy is serious !!
