This has happened before but rarely -
gave the birds their final feed at about 3.30 pm and called them with the special tweetle to which they more or less respond. From the big pyrawotsit came a perfect imitation (but more elaborate), I tweetled again and again came the repeat. It happened 12 times before Bobbin got fed up. Day Made .
I hope he enjoyed it as much as I did.

A pair of robins were in the ivy on my front wall toady. I think house hunting has commenced.
