I don't believe it, our blue tit is sleeping in the nest box again . not long set it up to the tv again to show a friend how it works and there he is. hahaha.

Surprised the wee mite's on his own :eek:. They usually huddle for warmth.

Actually, that reminds me of something I heard very recently:
A nestbox checked out by an ornithologist had 60 (!!!!!!!!!!!) wrens in it :wow:
It's the lack of social housing, y'know.

That would be nice , as there are quite a few more Blue Tits around our garden, I wonder if they are the young one's from the nest this year.

This observation sort of reinforces the apparently premature friskiness of my 3 dunnocks - I've been aware that 2 blueys have been showing some interest in one of the nestboxes for about 2 weeks now but toady :rolleyes:one popped inside and remained there for at least 2 minutes. It emerged and clung to the exterior, checking out the front door.
Right, now where's the Chirm's ........
