Re: BLACKBIRDS
I ventured out of the chateau back door this evening around 1830 Hrs en route to the dustbin(it was the servants day off),it was almost, dark spitting with rain and a very chilly east wind when the silence was broken by Mr Blackbird giving us his best come and get me ladies song at top volume Somehow all the current travails across the world were of little consequence.

Aaaahhh, that's very lovely, Jacquesparreau . We learn that le chateau has a back door and les serviteurs get a day off (don't actually believe that).
Your romantic style reminds me of Bram Stoker in full flow - certainly took my mind off les miseres that's for sure .

Well placi, as it turns out. This morning I had a female and then a male blackbird come in for some food. Was seeing them in the street but not in my garden.

Try and keep the invoice value under £100 as we don't want any profiteering in these trouble times
Re: BLACKBIRDS
Feeder in the hawthorn was on the ground this morning . Couple of metres away was some blackbird feathers. Probably a cat again. Hopefully the blackbird got away. Judging by the colour of the feathers it was a male.
