In the last few minutes of daylight Mr Blackbird turned up with his towel and cozzy and proceeded to enjoy a bath. Seeing as the rest of the likely bathers were tucked up in their cozy roosts for the night he had the pool to himself. :blackbird:  :cold2:

It was rather funny I must say. Camera at hand made the shot possible.

I love the Blackbird in the boat, it looks so at home!!

My Blackbirds came back last week. I am happy to see them after a couple of months absence. I have been keeping a look out for them for a while now. I get far too many Pigeons when they are not helping hoover up the ground feeder food!!

Hi Squirrel, we have 'we think' the same blackbirds here every day foraging through the leaves, under the bushes , in the plant's and under my shed. We also have one pigeon who basically lives here, comes right up to the patio door's . I could watch them all day.

Blackbirds are definitely back then! John, I think I have some of the same Blackbirds and Wood pigeons too. Today a female blackbird was looking for food
in one of the places I always put it. I felt sure she had remembered this from last year. Also one of my wood pigeons always sits on the patio table or the back of one of the chairs and looks in the kitchen door when it sees me. It knows I put food in the hanging basket for it!
