I have gone from a couple of fledglings to what seems like dozens in the space of 24 hours. They have been making an awful din while keeping me busy topping up the bird bath.

A little more peaceful today.
They made an early appearance when I put out the sultanas on the bird table but drifted away soon after that.

I'm getting the feeling the Starlings have had a good year for nesting and fledging youngsters. I have been getting plenty of them most days.

Talking if starlings, they devoured a whole jar of peanut butter for birds today.
