WINTER 2016/2017

Post by Jacksparrow » Mon Jan 16, 2017 8:54 pm

I know we are not finished with winter yet but the story thus far for my garden is that it is on course for one of the quietest on record in terms of species and numbers visiting. There was a time when a Chaffinch or two were regular visitors every winter along with the occasional Siskin and Redpoll. Blackbirds are at autumn levels and I've been reduced to a pair of Woodies. No corvids hardly and certainly no winter thrushes or even a Blackcap :(
