After a murky start this morning proved to be quite sunny in the chateau garden. This prompted my resident Robin to start his "here I am come and get me" song for any potential partners who might be within earshot. A little piece of spring come early

Aaaaahhh, started my day off happily.
Right now the boys are beginning to offer a bit of troth plighting to any girl willing to listen, and the girls are responding with what can only be translated as "Go away"
Always ends well though

At least one of my Robins has attracted a member of the opposite sex. They were home hunting in the ivy which covers my front garden wall very near to the site of last years effort. A little early I thought but I suppose the early starters get the best nest sites.

We have a sale on at: Honest Placi (BabyRobinFood) Inc. Forum rates.
P.S.: Your timetable seems spot on to me if they're going to be triple-brooders. I had that once - last brood was mid-August.
A very healthy pair you have there at Le Chateau

I'm not sure whether the ideal nest site has been selected as today they still seemed to be looking.
