Great spot, Willpar ! I get them but now you mention it I haven't seen one for quite a while. Maybe the weather will bring them in.

Had to look it up just to make sure. Never realized that they had a pinkish underside. Lovely little bird.

I have a Coal Tit visiting at present which is the first for several years. I was starting to think they had disappeared from my locality.

It's surprising what a little bit of snow brings out. Today, a coal tit discovered the feeding cage and was entranced by the sunflower hearts. I counted 4 quick visits, each time it carried a sunflower heart away, before I got fed up watching  :shake:.

I wonder if the multiples are pairing up ready for the upcoming nesting season?
Meanwhile I have returned to normal where I don't ever get a visit from a Coalie :( :shake:

Coal Tits are conspicuous by their absence. Must be sitting on eggs at the moment.

After an absence of 7 - 8 months during 2022, Coal Tits have returned after Boxing Day. Wonder how long they will be here this time.
