That's a shame, but all is not lost.

Another couple of Osprey nests I have been following just recently although no webcams on either. Caerlaverock Wildfowl and Wetland Trust did have a nest and webcam in the past. Unfortunately I cannot find anything this year. Threave Castle at Castle Douglas doesn't appear to have a webcam. This year, rarely happens, four eggs have been laid and four chicks have hatched. They have now been ringed as follows.

4B3 - Femaile - 1680g
4B4 - Female - 1774g
4B5 - Male - 1612G
4B6 Female - 1688G

Wish they had a cam on this nest

Would have been nice to have cameras as you say. Hope the four make it.

Loch of the Lowes

No mention on the blog but it looks like one chick has fledged. At the moment, one chick on the thick branch pointing to the loch at the back of the nest. No sign of the other chick.

I take it both chicks must be airborne at Loch of the Lowes. No chick sare on the nest at the moment.

Don't think Poole Harbour chick have fledged. There is a lot of wing flappping and jumping over the cup of the nest. Won't be too long before one takes to the air.
