Didn't know where Glaslyn was until now.
Glaslyn (Welsh: Blue lake) is a lake in the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. It is found at approximately 600 metres (2,000 ft) above sea level in a cwm on the eastern flanks of Snowdon. It is a rough ellipse in shape, about 500 metres (1,600 ft) east–west and about 300 metres (980 ft) north–south, and the Miners' Track runs along the northern shore.
Glaslyn is the source of the Afon Glaslyn, the major river of Gwynedd, which runs east to the reservoir of Llyn Llydaw before turning south-west to reach the sea at Porthmadog.

Apparently there was a visit from a peregrine falcon at Glaslyn this morning, I saw it in a chat, but couldn't find it on rewind. Can peregrines harm the chick this big, do you know? I wish it wold stop raining, they are all soaked again
They don't seem to be more lucky with the weather at Loch Arkaig

Been raining heavily at Glaslyn. The ground above the nest is flooded. Mum and chicks looking miserable.

Thankfully it stopped raining, and chicks look so beautiful now
. On Loch Arkaig nest, one parent is eating on the nest, while all 3 chicks are resting, not showing any interest in food. Those are clearly some well fed chicks
