No news on Odin at Loch Garten or Young Pretender at Loch of the Lowes. Assume both haven't started migration yet.

Seasca (middle chick from Loch Garten) is on her way south. At 9pm on 21 August she was at the Bay of Biscay in France. She's not hanging around.

Young Pretender hasn't been seen at Loch of the Lowes since Saturday 16 August. Look like he is in his way to Africa.

So Odin might still be here at Loch Garten - who else might be still around, peregrine?

Odin still there yesterday but Millie and Druie (this year's other chicks) appear to have gone. Matter of time before Odin goes.

Seasca has been lost in the Bay of Biscay. It is assumed she got exhausted, landed in the seas and drowned. Yet another sad ending. Millie I think is in South Wales and heading south. Hope she goes more east to miss Bay of Biscay.

Now appears Odin is on his way as well. Looks like the Osprey season is over. Won't be long before both sites are on the feeder cams.

Millie had our hearts in our mouths. She also crossed the Bay of Biscay like her sister but made it to North Spain. She took a 13 hour night flight to do it.

Blog confirms Millie is in Mauritania. Last two blog entries are interesting and worth a read.

Appears to be problems with Loch of the Lowes cam.
