Ospreys
Re: Ospreys
Feeding time over, Concerns regarding the 'Wee One' not getting as much food as the rest. Haven't seen a complete feeding session so hopefully my concerns are unfounded.
Re: Ospreys
I haven't watched it for a great length of time, but I take a look from time to time, and unfortunately haven't had luck so far to see chicks. Hopefully soon . I hope they are ok
Re: Ospreys
LF15 standing to the side and all chicks are in view. They have really grown and the size difference is evident.
Re: Ospreys
Last night around 08.30PM , the youngest of the chick died. I watched the chick being fed earlier and the youngest was nearer the edge of the nest. The other two chicks went back tom the cup of the nest and settled down. However the youngest appeared to struggle to get back to the cup and apparently both LM12 and LF15 stepped on the chick. Nature can be cruel at times. Sad news indeed.

That is so sad . Why would they step on it?peregrine wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2019 4:53 pmLast night around 08.30PM , the youngest of the chick died. Re: Ospreys
Both chicks are growing fast. Look like they are emerging from the 'Dinosaur' stage of development.
