All quiet on both nests.

Loch Garten blog has some interesting facts about some of their trees, including the oldest one on the reserve.

Interesting blog at Loch of the Lowes. May not be long before we have a chick here. This is the 34th day since the first egg was laid. Hatching can be 35 - 42 days after laying. We are entering an interesting time.

Now 38 days since the first egg was laid

LF15 first egg usually hatches 38/39 days. We wait in anticipation

Still problems with the cam

Loch of the Lowes

First chick hatched (well crack in the egg first noticed) 12.30pm yesterday (13 May 2917)

We can expect the next one around Tuesday

Haven't seen it live on cam yet.

Nest is fairly swaying in the breeze at Loch of the Lowes
