I hope not JS but would not rule it out. A couple of weeks ago there were around 6 of them over on the other part of the estate. A chap used to feed them, but I think he passed away, as I seen a funeral wreath in the garden.

They usually do fly away but do so in a grand circle to sit on my roof hoping I will disappear back in the house.

The feral pigeon count doubled today. There were two on the roof.

Only one came down for a feed, but this morning three flew onto the roof across the street.

Had four on my roof this morning. But they never came down to eat, and never stayed long.

For some reason the ferals have been a pain in the neck all day today. I have been working in and around the house and lost count of the number of times I either frightened them off by accident or on purpose. :( It was though my food was the only stuff available in the area. :hissyfit:

Am glad that I don't have your problem. Poor things have to eat, I blame the romans.

I have mentioned previously that I have a one-legged feral visiting. During the latest big freeze it has been a regular visitor. Today it seemed to be struggling even more than usual whilst searching to find the odd seed it's fitter cousins may have missed. I took pity on it and gave it it's own little scoop of seed. It was on it straight away and refused to be put off by myself messing around with the other feeders. My good deed for the day.
