Feed sunflower hearts. Between the feeders and the ground below them I have seen 40+ goldfinches. A wonderful sight.

Every morning I have 6 Goldfinch on the tree ,and they never come to feeders.

Sunflower seeds ,mixed seed,and another no mess seed ,and pellets canna remember the name peanuts and fat cakes better fed than my OH.I now have cotton wool out incase they are thinking of nest building ,the crows are back and they are in love.

I find it a little strange that your offer of hospitality is being ignored by the Goldfinch :shrug: Perhaps they are not happy where the feeders are hanging but normally there is always a few that are prepared to chance their luck. :)

Goldfinches have got me at my wits end 15 on the tree looking at me , they leave to go across to my neighbours Rowan tree and she feeds fat balls and peanuts. :shrug: banghead :chuckle:
