Still feeding Rambo the robin on demand but a neighbouring bluey has caught on. He/she has realised that reconstituted dried mealworms are good grub for baby blueys so I've been feeding it since Thursday.
This morning the bluey and Rambo were side by side on the little patio wall whilst I dispensed a robin portion + 1. The bluey came back for seconds, and thirds !!, before Rambo did.

The irony is that both my nestboxes are empty - the bluetit has set up nest in next door's box which I can watch from my patio so I see it go in and come back for more. What can you do ......?? :rolleyes: :shrug:

It happened previously and it's happened again :) - next door's bluey has latched onto the free mealies dispensed at regular intervals to Bobbin and Dad.
It's quicker than both so when the worm is put down he dives in and triumphantly pinches the prize :D.

This blue tit was working its way along the hedge early yesterday morning - feeding on insects I presume:
