So, first attempt and one of these here, let's see how it goes! Forecast for Sunday was glorious, if a tad breezy at the coast. Mrs PB and decided to head down early, as it was the end of the half term holiday, and likely to be infected with children *shiver*
First to greet us, one of a number of Sparrows There were many hundred of gulls, silently drifting on the breeze. A very eerie spectacle Followed by a Rook-y Raven-y corvid, on a ledge Amongst the gulls, a few Kittiwakes were visible

Hmmm... can't work out how to add more than three pictures. Once the preview pane is full it doesn't seem to like it

The Kittiwake! Another of the gulls, they seemed to be of different ages, and types Once they'd gone south, they all then started drifting north again... peculiar we thought It's not the preview pane, it's the add file pane, it only allows 3 files.

Some didn't know if they were supposed to be coming or going!! On the landward side, there was a lot of twittering and tweeting, not just from Sparrows, but also Meadow Pipits Peering over the cliff edge, some Sparrows were making use of the cliff face, not sure if it was nesting, or just to feed

A pair of very obliging Stonechats became my favourite models of the day (so far!!) But a very regal Raven (?) ran them close A flock of juvenile Starlings were entertaining to watch, as they scampered about between a pair of horses hooves... that's not a pair of hooves.. a pair of horses

All the while the gulls were drifting back and forth (I have got a picture of the mass feeding, but will need to re-edit it to make it small enough to fit) More Stonechat loveliness A pair of Linnets were stocking up, just along the path in front of us

The Stonechats were obviously getting used to us, as they fluttered less far away every time they went

Until eventually, they almost weren't bothering to go! Suddenly Mrs PB (or Spotter McGurk as I call her!) said "what's that up there, staying still" About 150 yards away...

At this point the wind had got too much for her, and an ear ache was developing, so she elected to go back to the car. She insisted I stay out for a bit, so I went to see if there were any closer pictures of Kestrel to be had... There weren't, until a bit later... but the Kestrel was replaced by..... Oh. My. Word!
