On an American tv prog t'other day I saw a guy (
) in the process of hanging a drinker for wild birds.
Can't find it on Google but it appeared to be an inverted bottle screwed to a base. The base was the interesting part - it resembled two saucers, one upside down so the whole thing looked like a sort of flying saucer. The top 'saucer' had about 5 holes therein around the rim, which prevented the liquid (which was red
) from becoming contaminated.
Obviously, we have saucer-like drinkers here but haven't seen one with this clever addition of the inverted saucer with holes.
