My new bird feeder..

Hi I thought I would share my new bird feeder with everyone. I think it looks great. :)

Looking good but expect the birds to treat it with great suspicion for a while. Have you got a squirrel problem as I see you've opted for a guarded feeder?

Hi no I don't have a squirrel problem it's just that I liked the look of this feeder and it's something different in the garden.

Nice.
That should work really well once they're used to it because they've got foliage nearby they can hide in the check out the area before going in and scarper in to if necessary. Hopefully they'll be on it soon.

My new fat ball feeder below. First saw it on Alan Titcharsh's Sunday morning program two weeks ago. Initially the birds used it to access the sunflower hearts feeder to the left. Now they are feeding from it. Great Idea, cheap fat ball feeder that takes two fat balls.

An interesting re-purposing but my current fat ball feeder is still functioning even though it's 15 years old. I will keep a look-out for a cheap whisk in the charity shops.

Must have missed that episode of Springwatch. Certainly a great idea.
