A Jackdaw gathering nesting material in the front garden. I think that is a first for the chateau gardens. :)

Mrs. Blackbird with a beakful of moss and very busy she looked too. Himself was nowhere to be seen :shake: :rolleyes:.

I very rarely see the Sparrowhawk that patrols my area. He turned up today and found a Starling to have for lunch :(

Very sorry, particularly as sturks are on the decline. However, all part of Life's rich tapestry and all that.

A rare event - a jay !! But not only a rare event but two rare events = 2 jays !!! :clap: :wow:
The couple were in the severely cropped silver birch and I suppose the reason they hung around for at least 30 seconds :rolleyes: was that there happened to be no ground food out at that moment.

Never mind it could have happened to any of us :nod: Have a quiet word in the caterer's ear to make sure your food offer is kept up to standard. :)
