Hi Jacksparrow, I reckon they were passing through. Have never seen them before on my walks. They were by a newly planted corn field, so may have dropped in for a feed.

They are more likely to be seen in areas at or near the sea. We inland folk are denied the pleasure unless we're very lucky :( .
