Along the hedge where they were was pretty well void of any berries i noticed.

I saw my first Blackcap of the winter this morning. They like Rowan berries and there are still some left.

Good spot and a lovely bird to have in the garden. Have been wondering if I will get any this winter. Came in January last winter.

Seen two birds in a field that i though may be small game birds like partridge. Did get a short video even though they were far away. had a look on computer and the nearest i got was fieldfares. Looked quite large from a distance.

They are the biggest of the Thrush family so it is very likely.

I now have two Blackcaps as a female has joined up with the male I've had for a few days now.

Not seen any here yet. I did take a look and the first appeared in my garden on January 17th of last winter.

I saw a few a couple of weeks ago but I seen spiders busy building new webs since then.
